Holiday travel
Just before the holidays I had my end of term performances then packed my bags. I know I've finally settled into NY. As I packed I felt the stress of leaving home. I woke up early in the am the next day, got in my car and drove to pick up the craigslisters that would share the ride to chicago with me. Amazingly everyone showed up at the said meeting place in time and we were off to chicago by 7am. The trip flew by without any problems until chicago, where there was ice and snow. But even with the weather obstacle I managed to drop them off at Union Station and make it to my destination...My dear friend Vivian's birthday party. Dispite my exhaustion from the travel it was so nice to see her and join in on the festivities. She had all of her art up and I ended up leaving with a magnificent mask. While I was there I also had a rendevouz with my friend Gynna who I hadn't seen in centuries. I traveled on from there and reached my parents house. In the week I was in Chicago I was blessed with seeing many people although I would have liked to spend more quality time with everyone (including myself). I guess that's just how it is when you're passing through. The week flew by. I then headed down to St. Louis, where I'm writing this from. My sister is pregnant and due to have a baby any moment. I have been crossing my fingers that my new niece will be borm while I'm here. I've also been doing reflexology on my sister and pushing her baby buttons to get things moving. Here's hoping! I've had a chance to see my nephew, Wade who is the little love of my life and have been helping around the house. I'm also hoping to get a chance to visit the art museum here. I'll be posting photos soon.
